Rain Kazymerchyk was born & raised in New York State. Only a short train ride to NYC she enjoyed visiting the many galleries and museums. With no formal training beyond high school she learned to use her artistic talents through self expression, community classes and lots of trial and error.
She fell in love with jewelry after seeing the King Tut exhibit in 1979. To see what could be done with stone and metal fascinated her.
She attended silversmithing, glass fusing & bead making classes in Tampa, Florida where she was a resident for 10 yrs.
After meeting her husband on the World Wide Web, she immigrated to Canada in 2001.
